Worcester Bosch Code Plug Low NOx NG 30kW 8716122397

The code plug is a small configuration component used on Worcester Bosch Greenstar combi boilers. It tells the control board which fuel the appliance is set up for and at what output, so the electronics run the correct combustion programme for that build.

This example is the Low NOx natural gas version rated at 30kW, and is intended for appliances built after the FD274 production marker. It is used across the Greenstar 4000 Combi and Greenstar combi ranges covered by the compatibility list below.

• The boiler locks out or will not fire correctly after a printed circuit board has been swapped.
• Combustion analyser readings sit outside the expected range for a 30kW natural gas appliance.
• Fault codes appear that point to appliance configuration rather than a mechanical fault.
• The boiler behaves as though it is set for a different fuel or output than the one on the data badge.
• The plug is missing, loose or visibly damaged when the control area is opened for service.

This part is fitted to a gas appliance; installation must be carried out by a Gas Safe registered engineer.

• Check the appliance model and confirm the boiler falls after the FD274 production marker before ordering.
• Match the GC number on the data badge against the compatibility list; GC 47-800-32 relates to the Greenstar 4000 Combi GR4700iW 30 C NG.
