What it is
The AIR VENT CUP is a Worcester Bosch component used on Greenstar 2000 Combi and Greenstar 4000 System boilers. It sits within the air vent assembly, where it collects and directs any water carried out with expelled air so it can be drained away rather than escaping into the appliance casing.
Signs this part needs replacing
- Water or staining around the air vent assembly or beneath the appliance
- Visible cracking, distortion or scaling of the cup
- The cup no longer seats or seals correctly in the air vent housing
- Damp marks or corrosion on nearby casing panels traced to the vent outlet
Before you order
- Confirm the boiler model and GC number against the fit list above
- Check the existing air vent cup for physical damage before removal to compare condition
- Verify the part number 8716121869 matches the number on the component being replaced
