What it is
The Worcester Bosch 8716121851 is a high limit stat (high limit thermostat) for appliances in the Worcester Bosch WB range. It is a safety device that monitors temperature and interrupts the burner circuit if the limit is exceeded. It is supplied as a standalone component, not as part of a kit.
Before you order
- Confirm the part number 8716121851 matches the number shown on the existing component or in the appliance documentation.
- Check that the appliance is a Worcester Bosch model within the WB range.
- Verify the fault diagnosis points to the high limit stat before ordering, as overheat cut-outs can also be triggered by other causes such as circulation or sensor faults.
- Confirm the appliance is isolated from the electrical supply before any inspection or replacement work.
