What it is
The Worcester 8716121842 is an anti-splash tundish from Worcester Bosch. A tundish is installed in a discharge pipe run to provide a visible air break between a relief valve outlet and the pipework downstream of it. The anti-splash pattern is intended to contain water that would otherwise splash from the open end of the tundish during discharge.
Before you order
- Confirm the part number 8716121842 matches the item listed in the appliance or system documentation.
- Check whether the installation calls for the anti-splash pattern rather than a standard tundish.
- Review the discharge pipework arrangement against the manufacturer's installation instructions before fitting.
