What it is
The Worcester Bosch fan assembly for System 24 kW appliances is the forced-draught fan that pushes fresh air into the combustion chamber so the gas burns correctly, and clears the flue gases once combustion is complete. It is supplied as a Worcester Bosch spare under part number 87161214560. The boiler's safety controls stop gas reaching the main burner if the fan is not running correctly, so a fan that has failed will prevent the appliance from firing.
