Worcester 8716119827 Pump Head

This is a replacement circulation pump head for Worcester Bosch domestic heating systems. It is an electronic SmartFlow head rated at 15/60 and 25/60, designed to move water around a pressurised closed circuit or an open circulation system, and it also suits air conditioning installations. The head is supplied as an alternative to Worcester part numbers 8716135940, 8716119822 and 8716119827, and mounts on a 130 mm port-to-port pump body with a 6 m head rating.

• The pump runs but radiators stay cold or heat unevenly across the system
• Grinding, humming or whining noise coming from the pump body
• The boiler locks out or overheats because circulation has stopped
• The pump head runs hot with little or no flow through the circuit
• Weeping or staining at the joint between the head and the pump body

• Confirm the part number on the existing pump head and the pump body it is fitted to
• Check the 130 mm port-to-port distance and the 6 m head rating match the installed pump
• Inspect the gasket or O-ring at the head joint and renew it if it is hardened or split
• Isolate and drain the system before removing the old head
