What it is
The 8716118443 is a fan assembly manufactured by Worcester Bosch. It draws fresh air into the combustion chamber for correct gas burning and extracts the resulting flue gases, with the boiler's safety controls stopping gas flow to the main burner if the fan is not running correctly.
Signs this part needs replacing
- Fan noisy, rattling or running unevenly
- Boiler locking out on a fan or air-pressure fault
- Fan not spinning up when the boiler calls for heat
- Burning smell or visible wear on the fan housing/impeller
Before you order
