Worcester Bosch Door Seal 8716118164

The Worcester Bosch 8716118164 door seal is a replacement sealing component for the combustion chamber door on Worcester Bosch gas appliances. It sits between the door and the appliance body, closing the joint so that flue gases stay inside the combustion path and air cannot leak into it. The seal is listed under Worcester's gaskets, seals and washers range and is used across the Greenstar FS and Highflow CDi ErP families.

• Visible flattening, hardening or cracking of the seal material when the door is opened for service
• Soot streaking or discolouration around the door joint, indicating leakage past the seal
• Flue gas readings that drift or fail to stabilise during a combustion analysis
• Condensate or water weeping from the door area
• The door needing to be forced or re-tightened repeatedly to sit flat

• Check the GC number on the appliance data badge against the list above, as the same model name can carry different GC numbers by fuel type and revision
• Confirm the part number 8716118164 or the alternative number 2244949 before ordering
• Inspect the door fixings and any other seals in the same assembly, as these are often disturbed at the same time
• This part is fitted to a gas appliance; installation must be carried out by a Gas Safe registered engineer.
