What it is
The Worcester Bosch 8716118161 is a 30mm rubber grommet used on Greenstar FS ErP regular boilers. It sits at a panel or casing entry point to cushion and seal around a pipe or cable passing through. The rubber construction absorbs vibration and closes the gap around the penetration.
Signs this part needs replacing
- The rubber has perished, cracked or split
- The grommet has hardened and no longer seals against the pipe or cable
- The grommet is missing, loose or has been pushed out of its panel hole
- Water, air or flue gases are escaping around the entry point
- The grommet no longer grips the pipe or cable passing through it
Before you order
- Confirm your appliance model against the fit list above
- Check the existing grommet is the 30mm size and matches the entry point on your boiler
- Inspect the panel hole and the pipe or cable for damage before fitting a new grommet
