What it is

The case inner door is a Worcester Bosch component used on Greenstar FS and Highflow ErP boiler ranges. It forms the inner section of the appliance casing, sitting behind the outer case panel. Its role is to close off the internal compartment and maintain the correct casing arrangement around the heat exchanger and combustion area.

Signs this part needs replacing

  • The door is distorted, warped or no longer sits flat against the casing
  • Corrosion or heat discolouration across the door panel
  • Cracks or splits in the metalwork
  • The door will not latch or close correctly, or the fixings no longer hold it securely
  • Visible damage following servicing or handling of the casing

Before you order

  • Confirm your appliance model and, where shown, the GC number against the fitment list above
  • Check the existing inner door for damage to the panel, latch points and fixing holes
  • Verify the part number 8716118159 against the manufacturer's parts list for your boiler
  • Confirm whether any associated seals or fixings are required separately, as they are not listed here
