What it is
The 87161165420 is Worcester's ignition lead for the British Gas RD628 RSF combi boiler, built before serial number FD483. It carries the high-voltage spark from the ignition unit to the electrode to light the burner.

- Boiler fails to ignite or takes repeated attempts to light
- Intermittent lockouts on an ignition fault code
- Visible cracking, fraying or scorching on the existing lead
- Clicking or arcing noise near the electrode without the burner lighting
