What it is

The Worcester Bosch M16 cord grip bush, part 87161123330, is a cable entry component used on Greenstar oil-fired boilers. It grips and seals the mains cable where it passes through the appliance casing, holding the cable secure at the entry point.

Signs this part needs replacing

  • The bush is cracked, split or brittle
  • The cable is loose and no longer held securely at the entry point
  • The cable entry no longer seals against the appliance casing
  • Visible damage or deformation around the M16 thread
  • Dirt or moisture entering at the cable entry

Before you order

  • Confirm the part number 87161123330 matches the entry on your appliance's parts list
  • Check that the existing bush is an M16 thread fitting
  • Check your boiler model against the fit list above
