What it is
The Worcester Bosch 87161118490 is a conversion kit for changing a Greenstar 12I System boiler from LPG (liquefied petroleum gas) to NG (natural gas). It is intended for appliances with an FD number before 681. The kit allows the boiler to be set up for natural gas operation.
Signs this part needs replacing
- The boiler is set up for LPG but the property is supplied with natural gas
- The gas type on the appliance data badge does not match the gas being supplied
- The boiler's gas settings are configured for LPG and the supply is natural gas
- A change of gas supply means the appliance must be converted to natural gas
Before you order
- Confirm the boiler is a Greenstar 12I System model
- Check the appliance FD number is before 681
- Confirm the current gas type is LPG and the intended supply is natural gas
- Check the existing gas type against the appliance data badge
