Worcester Bosch Bush Strain Relief External 87161079570

The Worcester Bosch 87161079570 is an external bush strain relief, listed by the manufacturer under the part type bushes. It sits at the point where the mains cable or wiring passes through the outer casing of the appliance, gripping the cable and holding it clear of the panel edge so the outer sheath is not cut or abraded in service. It is used across Worcester Bosch Camray Cam 5 Combi and Greenstar Heatslave External models.

• Visible cracking, splitting or hardening of the bush where the cable passes through the casing.
• The cable can be pulled in and out of the entry point because the bush no longer grips it.
• Scuffed or chafed outer sheath, or exposed inner conductors, at the casing entry.
• The bush has worked loose from its mounting hole and no longer sits flush with the panel.
• Heat damage or distortion of the bush, usually noticed during a service or wiring inspection.

• Confirm the appliance model and, where applicable, the serial number against the compatibility list before ordering.
• Check the previous Worcester part code 8-716-107-957-0 against the number on the part being replaced.
• This part is fitted to a gas appliance; installation must be carried out by a Gas Safe registered engineer.
