What it is
The Worcester Bosch DT20 is a twin channel digital timer supplied under part number 87161066650. It is a boiler control accessory used on Worcester Bosch gas appliances to set separate time programmes for central heating and hot water. The twin channel design allows each circuit to run to its own schedule rather than a single shared on/off period.
Signs this part needs replacing
- The display is blank, dim, or shows incomplete segments
- Buttons do not respond, or settings cannot be changed
- Heating or hot water fails to switch on or off at the programmed times
- The timer loses the time or its programmes after a power interruption
- Switching becomes erratic, with the boiler running outside the set schedule
Before you order
- Confirm the boiler model and check it against the manufacturer's parts list
- Check the model and part number printed on the existing timer
- Confirm whether the appliance requires a twin channel timer rather than a single channel unit
- Verify the connection type and mounting arrangement of the existing control before removal
