What it is
The Worcester Bosch automatic air vent, part 87161061420, is a float-operated air release valve fitted in the pump section of the Junior Series boiler range. It removes air that collects in the central heating circuit so water can circulate freely through the system. A float inside the body rises as the chamber fills and closes the vent; when air builds up and the water level drops, the float falls and the vent opens to discharge it.
