The heat exchanger shell is the outer body of the primary heat exchanger used on Worcester Bosch Greenstar HE II 12/22 ROO appliances. It forms the housing through which the heating circuit water passes while combustion gases transfer heat across the exchanger surface. The shell is supplied as an individual component, so the internal matrix and any associated seals are handled separately during a rebuild.
