What it is

The burner manifold is the gas-carrying rail that feeds the burner injectors on Worcester natural gas boilers. This unit is manufactured by Worcester Bosch for the 24SI II RSF appliance family and supplies gas at the correct pressure and distribution to each burner port. It is a natural gas (NG) component and is not suitable for LPG appliances.

Signs this part needs replacing

  • Unstable or uneven flame across the burner, with some ports failing to light
  • Combustion readings outside the manufacturer's specified range that cannot be corrected by adjustment
  • Soot deposits or discolouration around the burner and manifold area
  • Visible corrosion, cracking or debris build-up inside the manifold rail or at the injector tappings
  • A gas smell or a detected leak at the manifold joints or connections

Before you order

  • Confirm your appliance is the Worcester 24SI II RSF running on natural gas, and check the GC number 47-311-65 against the data badge
  • Check the part number on the existing manifold, including whether it carries the earlier code 7716192263
  • Confirm the boiler is isolated from the gas supply and that any work is carried out by a Gas Safe registered engineer
  • Check the condition of the burner injectors and seals at the same time, as these are disturbed during replacement
