What it is
The Worcester Bosch compression ring 1/2 in (part 87102060360) is a sealing olive used in compression joints on Worcester Bosch Greenstar appliances. It fits pipework on the Greenstar 1000 and 2000 series, forming the seal between the pipe and the fitting body as the nut is tightened. The ring deforms onto the pipe to create a watertight joint.
Signs this part needs replacing
- Weeping or dripping at the compression joint after tightening.
- Visible corrosion, pitting or flattening on the ring surface.
- The ring is scored, cracked or deformed from over-tightening.
- Damp staining or limescale tracking around the fitting.
- A joint that will not seal when re-made with the existing ring.
