What it is
The MHS Z856013839 is a Teflon (PTFE) olive for a union fitting, listed by MHS within its gas boiler spare parts range. The olive sits in the union and deforms as the joint is tightened to create the seal between the mating faces. PTFE is a soft, chemically resistant material used where a metal-to-metal joint alone will not seal reliably.
Before you order
- Confirm the olive size and seat profile the union on the appliance requires; dimensions are not stated for this part.
- Match the part number Z856013839 against the manufacturer's documentation for the boiler before ordering.
- Check the union type and the pipe diameter it serves so the correct olive is selected.
