What it is
The MHS Z848049374 is a damper elbow incorporating a non-return valve (NRV), produced by MHS for Strata 1 HE and Strata 2 gas boilers. The damper regulates airflow through the elbow, while the non-return valve prevents reverse flow through the assembly. It is listed under gas boiler spares as a miscellaneous component.
Before you order
- Confirm the part number Z848049374 matches the component currently fitted or the appliance parts list.
- Check the appliance model — Strata 1 HE or Strata 2 — before ordering.
- Verify the elbow orientation and non-return valve arrangement against the existing assembly, as the damper and NRV are combined in this part.
