What it is
The Intergas ball valve is a 15mm x 15mm isolation valve fitted with a blue handle. It is used on Intergas Rapid appliances to isolate the water circuit for servicing or repair work. Turning the handle through a quarter turn opens or closes the valve.
Signs this part needs replacing
- Water weeping from the valve spindle or around the handle
- Handle stiff, seized or turning without operating the valve
- Valve will not isolate the flow when closed
- Corrosion, scale or staining around the valve body or connections
