Vokera Sensing Electrode With Lead 8301

The Vokera 8301 is a flame sensing electrode supplied with an attached lead. It is fitted to Vokera Maxin and Mynute gas boilers, where it monitors the presence of a flame at the burner and signals the control board to maintain safe operation. The electrode and its lead form the sensing circuit between the burner and the boiler's ignition control.

• The boiler fires and then locks out shortly afterwards, indicating no flame signal is being detected.
• Repeated lockouts on start-up despite the burner igniting.
• Intermittent operation where the boiler runs for a short period and then shuts down.
• Visible damage to the electrode tip, ceramic insulator or lead, such as cracking, corrosion or a broken connection.
• A weak or erratic flame signal traced to the electrode during fault diagnosis.
