What it is
The 802266 is a flow sensor fitted to Glow-worm Enviroplus F combination boilers, shared with equivalent Saunier Duval appliances under the Vaillant Group. It detects water flow through the boiler so the control system can safely fire the burner only when water is moving through the heat exchanger.
Signs this part needs replacing
- Boiler locks out on a no-flow or flow-sensing fault
- Hot water or heating cuts out intermittently during use
- Sensor reads flow incorrectly even with the system running normally
