What it is
The pilot pipe with nuts is a Glow-worm gas-carrying component that feeds the pilot burner assembly on later models of the Ultimate FF boiler range. It supplies the pilot injector so the burner can be lit and the flame supervision device proved before main gas is released. The pipe is supplied with its retaining nuts for connection at both ends.

- Pilot flame fails to light or will not stay lit after ignition
- Visible kinking, crushing or corrosion on the pilot pipe
- Gas smell or a detectable leak at the pilot pipe unions
- Soot or discolouration around the pilot assembly indicating a disturbed gas supply
- Nuts seized, cross-threaded or damaged at the pilot pipe connections
