What it is
The Vokera 7999 is a small rubber O-ring used as a sealing component within the hydraulic and water-carrying sections of Vokera gas boilers. It is supplied as a pack of ten. The O-ring seals mating surfaces and connections to prevent water weeping or dripping from the joint.
Signs this part needs replacing
- Water weeping or dripping from the joint the O-ring seals
- The O-ring is visibly flattened, hardened or cracked
- Scale or corrosion deposits around the sealing face
- Water staining or residue on components below the joint
- A joint that continues to seep after the retaining nut or fitting has been tightened
