What it is
The DPCV Kit, part number 789603, is a differential pressure control valve kit manufactured for the Caleffi HIU product range. It is supplied as a kit covering all units in that range. The valve regulates differential pressure within the heating circuit, helping to keep flow conditions stable across the system.
Signs this part needs replacing
- Differential pressure across the circuit drifts or cannot be held steady
- Audible noise or vibration from the valve or pipework during operation
- Uneven heat output between emitters on the same circuit
- The HIU cycles or modulates erratically under normal demand
- Visible leakage, corrosion or seizure at the valve body
Before you order
- Confirm your appliance model against the manufacturer's parts list
- Check the existing valve type and connection arrangement on the unit
- Verify the part number 789603 matches the item being replaced
- Confirm whether the unit is covered by the all-units kit specification
