What it is
The Baxi 7877737 is a front door assembly for Baxi gas boilers. It forms the removable front panel of the combustion chamber, closing off the heat exchanger and burner area and maintaining the correct sealed condition of the appliance. It is used across a number of Baxi combi and system models.
Signs this part needs replacing
- Visible corrosion, pitting or heat discolouration on the door panel
- Distortion of the panel so it no longer sits flat against the combustion chamber face
- Damaged, perished or missing door seal, giving a poor gas-tight joint
- Fixings or securing points that will not hold the door firmly in place
- Signs of leakage or combustion products escaping around the door area
