What it is

The Viessmann Sealing Kit 7837258 is a sealing kit supplied by Viessmann for use on Vitodens 100-W WB1C appliances. It provides the seals and gaskets required at the joint it serves, restoring a sound, leak-free seal during service or repair work.

Signs this part needs replacing

  • Visible weeping or damp staining around the joint the seal serves
  • Water or residue tracking down the component below the seal
  • Seal material hardened, cracked, flattened or swollen on inspection
  • Seal damaged or displaced during previous service work
  • Loss of pressure traced to a failed joint

Before you order

  • Confirm the appliance model and serial number match one of the fitment lines above
  • Check the boiler's model badge on the casing before ordering
  • Inspect the existing seal to confirm the fault lies at that joint and not elsewhere
  • Verify the part number 7837258 against the old component or documentation where available
