What it is

This is a Viessmann accessory pack of 2-pole plugs, supplied as part number 7832394. It provides the plug connectors used on the low-voltage MV motor connections within the appliance. It is intended for use on Vitodens 242-F boilers.

Signs this part needs replacing

  • Cracked, brittle or heat-damaged plug housings on the low-voltage motor connections
  • Loose or poor contact at the plug, causing intermittent operation of the motor
  • Corroded, discoloured or blackened terminals inside the plug body
  • Retaining clips or latches broken so the plug will not seat and lock correctly

Before you order

  • Confirm the appliance model and serial number against the fit list above
  • Check that the existing connector is 2-pole and matches the plug reference required
  • Inspect the wiring harness for damage before fitting new plugs, as connector faults often accompany loom damage
  • Confirm the number of plugs needed, as this item is supplied as a pack
