What it is
The Viessmann ionisation lead (inner), part number 7823015, is a flame-sensing lead used on Vitodens WB3A System boilers manufactured from 15.01.2004. It carries the ionisation signal from the electrode to the boiler control, which uses that signal to confirm a flame is present and to shut off the gas valve if it is not.
