What it is
The Vokera 7818 is a rear insulation panel for the combustion chamber of Vokera Mynute gas boilers. It sits at the rear of the combustion chamber, retaining heat within the combustion zone and shielding the surrounding casing and components from excessive temperatures. The panel is a serviceable item and is replaced when it becomes heat-damaged or degraded.
Signs this part needs replacing
- Visible cracking, crumbling or flaking of the insulation material
- Discolouration, scorching or heat damage to the panel surface
- Insulation debris found inside the combustion chamber
- Boiler overheating, short cycling or unstable flame performance linked to heat loss from the chamber
Before you order
- Confirm your boiler model against the fit list above, including whether your Mynute 20E is an early or later model
- Check the existing panel for the part number 7818 or equivalent markings
- Inspect the combustion chamber for related damage before fitting
