What it is
The Baxi Hydroblock 12PL is a complete hydraulic assembly used in Baxi combi boilers. It manages the flow of water through the appliance, combining the heating and domestic hot water circuits within a single unit. This version is specified for 28kW models and is supplied as a complete assembly.
Signs this part needs replacing
- Water weeping or visible leaks from the hydroblock body or its connections
- Loss of system pressure that cannot be traced to any other component
- No hot water or intermittent hot water delivery from the combi
- Diverter function failing, so heating and hot water demand are not switched correctly
- Scale or debris build-up restricting flow through the block
Before you order
- Confirm the appliance model is the Baxi 228 Combi 2
- Check the part number on the existing component against 7810712
- Verify the appliance is the 28kW variant before ordering
- Inspect the surrounding pipework and seals for damage that may also need attention
