What it is

The Baxi 7810697 is a 60 mm flue gasket used on Baxi Combi 2 appliances. It seals the flue connection, preventing flue gases and condensate from escaping at the joint. The gasket is a service item and should be renewed whenever the flue joint is disturbed or the existing seal has deteriorated.

Signs this part needs replacing

  • Visible cracking, hardening or perishing of the gasket material
  • Condensate staining or water marks around the flue joint
  • Flue gas leakage detected at the joint during a combustion check
  • Gasket compressed or deformed after the flue has been dismantled and reassembled
  • Combustion readings drifting outside expected limits with no other cause found

Before you order

  • Confirm your appliance model against the fit list above
  • Check the existing gasket measures 60 mm before ordering
  • Inspect the flue joint for damage to the flue components themselves, not just the gasket
  • Have the appliance reassembled and combustion-tested by a competent engineer after fitting
