What it is

The Baxi 7810655 is a complete heat exchanger rated at 28kW, manufactured by Baxi for use in selected Baxi Combi 2 appliances. It transfers heat from the combustion circuit to the domestic hot water and central heating water circuits within the boiler.

Signs this part needs replacing

  • Water weeping or visible leakage from the heat exchanger body or its connections
  • Repeated overheat faults or lockouts during heating or hot water demand
  • Kettling, banging or rumbling noises from the boiler during operation
  • Reduced hot water or heating output despite the burner firing correctly
  • Discoloured system water or evidence of scale and sludge restricting the exchanger

Before you order

  • Confirm your appliance model against the fit list above before ordering
  • Check the kW rating of your appliance matches the 28kW rating of this exchanger
  • Verify the part number on the existing component or against the manufacturer's parts list for your model
  • Confirm whether your appliance requires the complete assembly or a separate exchanger variant
