What it is
The Andrews 7709372 is a 28mm obtuse compression elbow manufactured for Andrews water heaters. It is used in the pipework of Andrews Maxxflo EVO appliances and Andrews hot water spares, joining two 28mm pipes at an obtuse angle.
Signs this part needs replacing
- Weeping or dripping at the compression joint
- Water staining, corrosion or verdigris around the nut and olive
- Scale or mineral build-up on the fitting body
- A compression nut that will not tighten down or seal
- Repeated system pressure loss traced to the joint
Before you order
- Confirm the pipework at the joint is 28mm
- Check that an obtuse angle is required rather than a 90 degree elbow
- Check your appliance model against the fitment list above
- Confirm how many elbows the installation requires
