What it is
The Andrews 7709298 is a burner assembly for Andrews Maxxflo EVO water heaters. It is rated for 30 kW and 45 kW outputs and is used across both LPG and natural gas (NG) variants of the range. The burner delivers the gas and air mixture required for combustion inside the heat exchanger.
Signs this part needs replacing
- Yellow or orange flame instead of a steady blue flame
- Soot deposits or blackening around the burner or heat exchanger
- Repeated ignition failure or lockout on start-up
- Unstable flame, flame lift, or noisy combustion
- Poor heating performance despite correct gas supply
Before you order
- Confirm your appliance model is listed in the Fits section above
- Check whether your unit runs on LPG or natural gas (NG)
- Verify the required output rating (30 kW or 45 kW)
- Cross-reference the part number 7709298 against the manufacturer's parts list
