What it is
The Andrews 7705044 is a combined pressure reducing, check and expansion valve with a 1 inch connection. It is used on Andrews water heaters in the Hiflo EVO range, where it regulates incoming supply pressure, prevents backflow through the supply pipework and provides expansion control within the same valve body.

- Water passes back through the valve when the supply is isolated
- Discharge from the expansion relief, indicating the valve is not holding pressure
