What it is
The Andrews 7703881 Gas Pilot Assembly is a pilot burner assembly for Andrews gas-fired water heaters. It carries the standing pilot flame that ignites the main burner on demand. This assembly is listed for use across the Classicflo range.
Signs this part needs replacing
- The pilot flame fails to light, or lights and then goes out
- The pilot flame is weak, yellow, or lifts away from the burner
- Repeated lockouts that need a manual reset to clear
- Soot or heat discolouration around the pilot burner and its electrode area
Before you order
- Check the model number on the appliance data plate against the fit list
- Compare the markings on the existing pilot assembly with part number 7703881
- Isolate the gas and electrical supplies before removing the old assembly
- Confirm the assembly is the correct type for the appliance's pilot arrangement

Fitment listings are a guide, not a guarantee. Plant-room assemblies get modified on site more often than not. Send us the GC number off the data badge and a photo of the existing valve and we will confirm before anything is dispatched.
