What it is
The Andrews 7700315 is an inner flue adaptor gasket with an 80 mm diameter, used on Andrews Fastflo water heaters. It seals the joint at the inner flue adaptor, preventing flue gases and condensate from escaping at the connection. The gasket is a service item that should be renewed whenever the flue adaptor joint is disturbed.
Signs this part needs replacing
- Visible cracking, hardening or flattening of the gasket material
- Soot or condensate staining around the flue adaptor joint
- Flue gas leakage detected at the adaptor connection
- Combustion readings outside the appliance's specified range
- The gasket breaks up or sticks to the flue adaptor when the flue is removed
Before you order
- Confirm the appliance model is listed in the Fits section above
- Check that the existing gasket is the 80 mm inner flue adaptor type
- Inspect the flue adaptor and flue spigot for corrosion or damage before refitting
- Have the appliance model and serial number to hand when checking parts
