What it is
The Andrews 7700267 is a rubber wire grommet used on Andrews water heaters. It sits in a casing opening and protects wiring as it passes through the panel. It is a small consumable component that is replaced when the rubber deteriorates or the grommet is lost.
Signs this part needs replacing
- The grommet is split, cracked or perished
- The rubber has hardened and no longer grips or cushions the wiring
- The grommet is missing, leaving wiring to run against a bare metal edge
- Visible chafing or scuffing on the wiring where it passes through the casing
Before you order
- Check the model details on the appliance data plate against the fit list above
- Confirm the part number 7700267 matches the component being replaced
- Inspect the existing grommet and its mounting position before ordering
