What it is

The Heatrae Sadia 7699592 is a 3.0kW vertical element plate assembly used in Heatrae Sadia and Santon water heating cylinders. It mounts to the cylinder body and provides the immersion heating element that heats the stored water. The assembly is supplied with a gasket for the plate-to-cylinder joint.

Signs this part needs replacing

  • No hot water from the cylinder despite the programmer and thermostat calling for heat
  • The heating element shows no continuity or a very high resistance reading when tested
  • The circuit breaker or RCD trips when the immersion is switched on
  • Visible corrosion, blistering or scale build-up on the element plate
