What it is
The Baxi 7692721 is a printed circuit board (PCB) used in Baxi Megaflo 18 System IE appliances. It is the main control board for the appliance, handling the ignition sequence, fan and pump control, temperature regulation and the safety interlocks that sit behind the boiler's lockout behaviour. The board is supplied as a direct replacement for the unit fitted to these models from the factory.
Signs this part needs replacing
- The appliance fails to fire and sits in lockout with no mechanical fault found elsewhere.
- The display is blank, flickering or showing erratic readings.
- The fan, pump or ignition sequence does not run in the correct order, or does not run at all.
- Repeated fault codes return after resetting, or heating and hot water become intermittent.
- The existing board shows heat damage, discoloured tracks, corroded terminals or evidence of water ingress.

- Confirm the GC number 51-297-54 and check the appliance serial number, as some Megaflo 18 System IE ErP units are identified by serial numbers ending BC or CC.
- Check the part number on the board being removed; earlier builds may carry 5129832.
- Isolate the electrical supply before removing the old board and photograph the wiring loom and connector positions before disconnecting anything.
