What it is

A Baxi O-ring measuring 23.47 mm internal diameter by 2.62 mm cross-section, supplied as a pack of two. It seals the domestic hot water (DHW) cartridge on selected Baxi combi boilers, preventing water escaping past the cartridge body. The ring is a service item and is replaced when the existing seal no longer holds.

Signs this part needs replacing

  • Water weeping or dripping from around the DHW cartridge
  • Damp staining or limescale trails at the cartridge joint
  • The O-ring is visibly flattened, cracked, swollen or hardened
  • Water tracking along the cartridge body after the boiler has been running
  • Recurring drips that return shortly after the joint has been cleaned up
