What it is
The Baxi 7661804 is an ignition electrode kit for Baxi ErP combi boilers running on natural gas. The electrode sits in the combustion chamber and provides the spark that lights the burner at start-up. It is supplied as a kit.
Signs this part needs replacing
- Boiler fails to light and goes to lockout on start-up
- No spark at the electrode during an ignition attempt
- Electrode tip eroded, sooted or bridged with debris
- Cracked or discoloured ceramic insulator
- Ignition lead connection loose or damaged at the electrode
