What it is
The NTC Sensor-Flue Thermo Wiring is a flue thermistor assembly supplied by Potterton for use on Potterton Commercial Sirius boilers. The NTC sensing element monitors flue temperature and connects to the boiler control via its attached wiring loom. It forms part of the boiler's temperature monitoring and safety circuit.

- Boiler locks out or shuts down during or shortly after firing
- Flue overheat fault indicated at the boiler controls
- Resistance reading from the sensor falls outside the expected range for the flue temperature
- Intermittent or unstable flue temperature readings
