Andrews Corner Insulation DN80 7659531

The Andrews Corner Insulation DN80 is a pre-formed insulation section designed to fit at corner positions on DN80 pipework. It is manufactured by Andrews Water Heaters for use with their hot water appliances and spares range. Its function is to limit heat loss and surface condensation at pipe corners where standard straight insulation cannot be continued.

• Visible cracking, splitting or crumbling of the insulation material at the corner
• Insulation that has become compressed or deformed so it no longer sits tight against the pipework
• Damp or saturated insulation, which reduces thermal performance and can promote corrosion
• Exposed pipework at the corner where the insulation has come away or been removed
• Condensation forming on the bare corner section during operation

• Confirm the pipework at the corner is DN80 nominal size
• Check the appliance model against the manufacturer's parts list to confirm this corner insulation is listed
• Inspect the corner to establish how many insulation sections are required
• Check the existing insulation for damage or moisture before fitting a replacement
