What it is
The Potterton 7616129 is a front casing panel (cover front) for the Potterton Profile HEAT ONLY boiler range. It forms the outer front cover of the appliance casing, closing off the front of the boiler. It is supplied as a casing component for the 18 kW, 24 kW and 30 kW heat only models, including the ErP variants.
Signs this part needs replacing
- The existing front panel is dented, cracked or distorted, so it no longer sits squarely on the casing.
- Corrosion or rust staining on the panel surface, typically along the lower edge or around fixing points.
- Paint or finish loss that has exposed bare metal and is spreading.
- The panel no longer locates or secures correctly on the appliance after refitting following service work.
Before you order
- Confirm the appliance is a Potterton Profile HEAT ONLY model by checking the data badge and the GC number against the fit list above.
- Check the output of the boiler — 18 kW, 24 kW or 30 kW — as the panel is listed only against these heat only models.
- Confirm whether the boiler is an ErP version or the earlier equivalent, as both are covered by this part number.
- Inspect the existing panel and its mounting arrangement before ordering so the correct component is identified first time.
