What it is
The Hamworthy contactor is a three-pole electrical contactor rated at 6 A with a 240 V AC coil and a stated switching capacity of 22 kW. It is supplied as a Hamworthy spare part for Hamworthy boilers, where it is used to switch an electrical load in response to a control signal from the appliance's control circuit. The contactor is a serviceable item and is replaced as a complete unit.
Before you order
- Confirm the coil voltage of the failed contactor is 240 V AC before ordering.
- Check the pole count and current rating against the unit being replaced.
- Compare the terminal layout and mounting arrangement with the contactor fitted to the boiler.
- Have the boiler model and serial number available to confirm the correct spare.
