What it is
Casing fasteners supplied by Buderus under part number 73901. They are the fixings used to secure the outer casing panels on the Buderus 500-24C gas boiler. The fasteners hold the casing in place so the appliance's internal components remain covered and correctly assembled.
Signs this part needs replacing
- Casing panels are loose or do not sit flush against the boiler body
- Fasteners are missing, seized, rounded off or will not hold torque
- Visible corrosion or thread damage on the existing casing fixings
- Casing rattles or vibrates during boiler operation
- Fasteners are difficult to remove and refit during servicing
Before you order
- Confirm the appliance is a Buderus 500-24C
- Check how many fasteners the casing panels require, as the quantity needed varies with the panel arrangement
- Inspect the existing fixings for corrosion, cross-threading or seized heads before removing them
- Retain any undamaged fasteners for reuse alongside the new ones
